The epoxy resin DIY1201AB offers a wide range of applications:
Laminating applications in the automotive sector, model building and repair work sealing work in hobby and craft sealing work in the floor area or coating of wood surfaces casting but also sealing of furniture, tabletops and various Interior objects of electrical circuits or Insulation of electrical clamping points: the right mixing ratio (weight parts): 100 g resin/45 g hardener mixing ratio (volume components): 100 ml resin/45 ml hardener pot time (processing time): at 20 °C approx. 30-45 minutes start of curing after approx. 45 minutes (depending on temperature) final strength after approx. 36 – 48 hours (depending on temperature)
Usage Tip:
We recommend no more than 1 cm layer thickness per passage. If you want e.g. Pour 3 cm layer thickness, you should only pour 1 cm. After about 6-8 hours, you can pour the second 1 cm layer and after a further 6-8 hours, then the third 1 cm layer.
This prevents the resin from becoming too hot and unwanted cracks. At the end you will see no boundaries of the individual layers and have a clear transition.
Use tip for the winter:
For optimal results, you should only use the resin in room or Mix room temperature.
If the resin and hardener are too cold (below 5°C), it can happen that the process of curing is delayed or even exposed.
